[일상] 눈 오는 날의 산책과 올해 첫 목욕

안녕하세요, 춘향노트 입니다! 오늘은 눈이 소복이 내렸던 하루였어요. 이런 날은 춘향이와의 산책이 더 특별해집니다. 춘향이는 발바닥으로 눈을 밟는 걸 정말 좋아하는데요, 특히 첫발을 내딛을 때 살짝 움찔하는 모습이 너무 귀엽답니다. 산책 내내 춘향이는 흰 눈 위를 뛰어다니느라 정신이 없었어요.

Hello, this is Chunhyang Note! Today was a day filled with soft, fluffy snow. On days like this, walks with Chunhyang feel even more special. She absolutely loves the feeling of snow under her paws, and her little flinch when she takes her first step onto the snow is just so adorable. Throughout the walk, Chunhyang was completely caught up in running around on the white, snowy ground.

오늘 춘향이는 샤워 당첨!
사실 춘향이는 샤워를 자주 안 하는 편이에요. 그런데 오늘은 눈 위를 뒹굴고, 뛰어다녀 올해 들어 첫 샤워를 했답니다.

Chunhyang had a bath day today!
She doesn’t get baths very often. But after rolling around in the snow and running all over the place, she finally had her first bath of the year.

샤워는 춘향이에게 신나는 일도 아니고, 싫은 일도 아닌 그저 순응의 시간이랄까요? 물소리가 나면 순간적으로 눈이 커지긴 하지만, 몇 초 후에는 체념한 듯 얌전히 서 있어요. 오늘은 그래도 물 온도를 맞추느라 제가 실랑이 좀 했네요. 춘향이가 깨끗해지는 만큼 제 팔과 옷은 샤워장을 방불케 했답니다.

Bath time isn’t exactly exciting or dreadful for Chunhyang it’s more like a time of quiet acceptance. When she hears the sound of running water, her eyes widen for a moment, but a few seconds later, she stands there calmly as if she’s resigned to it. Still, today was a bit of a struggle for me to get the water temperature just right. While Chunhyang got nice and clean, my arms and clothes ended up looking like I had stepped straight into a shower myself!

명절 대이동 준비 완료!
곧 명절인데요, 춘향이와 함께 긴 이동을 해야 해요. 깨끗한 상태로 출발하는 게 좋을 것 같아서 오늘 샤워를 시켰어요. 확실히 털이 보송보송하니 더 귀여워 보이죠. 이제 춘향이랑 고속도로 휴게소를 누비며 올 명절 대이동을 잘 마쳐보려고요.

Ready for the big holiday journey!
The holidays are just around the corner, and we’ll soon be making a long trip with Chunhyang. I thought it’d be best to set out with her nice and clean, so today was bath day. With her fluffy, soft fur, she looks even more adorable now! I’m looking forward to hitting the highway rest stops with her and making it through this year’s big holiday travel adventure.

After her bath, Chunhyang completely ran out of energy and fell asleep at home, lying on her side just like a person.

강아지랑 눈 내린 거리를 걷는 기분, 혹시 느껴본 적 있나요? 춘향이가 온 몸으로 뛰어놀면서 만들어 준 눈길 위의 흔적들은 제게 소중한 하루의 기록으로 남았어요.

Have you ever experienced the feeling of walking through a snowy street with a dog? The little trails Chunhyang left behind as she ran and played her heart out in the snow became a precious record of this special day for me.
